Locomotive Drivers Wanted

Genesee and Wyoming Australia Pty Ltd (G&WA) is a progressive and established rail owner and operator with over 280 staff and part of the US based Genesee & Wyoming Group.

Due to an increase in customers and services additional opportunities have become available for a number of Qualified Locomotive Drivers based in our Dry Creek Depot, South Australia. To be successful you must be versatile as these positions will involve:

short haul
long haul including relay work
local shunt working.

Full time employment, good working conditions, an attractive salary including relocation assistance, where required, will be provided to the right people.

To be successful, you will need to have:

Locomotive Driver qualifications
Current or recent practical experience working on or about the operation of diesel locomotives and wagons
A basic working knowledge of safeworking procedures in a railway environment (where the appropriate qualifications is not held, internal training will be provided)
Good communications skills
A current unrestricted motor driver’s licence.
