Every student who enrols in Certificate II - Rail Operations will recieve a free locomotive manual.
Australian Rail Training is offering Certificate II in Transport and Logistics - Rail Operations 'off campus' via our club membership program.
This option will allow those people wishing to enter the railway industry, who may not be able to afford to drop their current employment or pay the upfront fees some training providers charge to get this nationally recognised qualification.
Please note that to gain employment with an operator you will also need to have a Category 1 medical (this will be at your own expense).
How it works
When you enrol in our ' club membership' you will receive your training plan outlining all the competencies needed to fulfill Certificates I and II in Rail Operations, as well payment forms and your student login details. Then each month you will recieve a training module as well as all the necessary information needed to complete it. This will at times include manuals, DVD's, diaries and other tools.
Once you have completed a module you are required to send your assessment back so one of our trainers can sign you off. Modules are sent out each month automatically after reciept of your monthly subscription.
Fees are taken out automatically each month via direct debit.
There are components to the course`which have to be completed face to face with a trainer. To do these modules you will need to attend four two day workshops. These workshops are not included in the $49.95 p/m membership fee however they are 40% off their normal cost.
How much does it really cost?
Membership and workbooks @ $49.95 p/m for 12 months = $599.40
4 x 2 day workshops @ $225 = $900.00
Enrolment and administration costs = $130 to be paid prior to commencement
Certification = $40 this is paid at the completion of Certificate II.
