Australian Rail Training has a number of offices located throughout NSW however our training packages are available Australia wide, we offer workshops in most major areas.

Our head office is located in Parkes, NSW (located at the bottom of the Railway footbridge in Welcome Street across from the Parkes Railway Station) which is one of the largest growth areas within the Australian railways. Parkes is also set to be the crossroads for the new inland railway.

Australian Rail Training (ART) has paid particular attention to developing a rail certification program which will allow anyone wanting to become a Train Driver the chance to get their certification without having to drop their existing employment to enter full time study with no guarantee of being employed by an operator. Hence the concept of our CLUB MEMBERSHIP.

**Please note ART does not guarantee you a position with an operator either however we will give references and you can continue to work while studying**

ART is in the final`stages of becoming a`registered training organisation (RTO) and the couses we offer are accredited to the AQF Standards.

The company directors Bernie Baker & Don Giles have spent countless hours with the team in order to develop the best training packages and tools available to Rail Operations students. Between them Bernie & Don have over 50 years in the Railway industry. Bernie has worked in all states except Queensland and Tasmania. Don has been mostly based in NSW and has a great deal of experience in the Metro system.

ART has developed brand new training systems with innovative tools and techniques such as training DVD's, Safety packs and classroom tools (eg loco control stands, brake equipment, onsite signalling plus loads more) which will help to give our students an edge on becoming the most employable new locomotive drivers within the Australian Railways.

Our training packages have been written, developed and tested by people in the drivers seat with the skills, knowledge and wealth of experience necessary to reach the high standards we hope to acheive we always encourage feedback from students, drivers, other Railway workers as well as Rail Operators.
